Expert knowledge of 3D modelling and texturing of world objects. Export to Unreal III game engine is required. Past experience of props creation on First Person Shooter games is highly desirable.
The 3D junior artist will work closely with the Level Design team in helping to bring to life the game enviroment. An eye for natural and realistic looking models absolutely necessary as is the ability to work within engine-based constraints.
Requirements:
- Past experience working at a game studio or a Mod
- Skills in 3ds Max or Maya, for hardsurface modeling
- Photoshop skills for creation of Vehicle Textures or Tiled Textures for bigger enviroment objects
- Experience of UVW-Unwrap and UV-Mapping to achieve optimal results
- Knowledge of the High- to Low-poly Bake
- Exporting Objects to the Unreal Engine III, including the creation of Lightmaps, LOD´s and Collision.
- Passion for first person shooter games, especially WWII era.
- Work remotely at your location. Must have a high end PC with current release of Maya / 3ds Max.
Expectations:
20 hrs+ per week and at least a six month commitment.
Compensation:
Based on sales of game and actual work completed.
